The Alexander Muss High School in Israel functions 6 days a week. On average, 2-3 days per week are spent on tiyulim (field trips), and the rest of the time is spent studying on campus. The studying is broken into 2 parts: the 'core program', which entails all the Israel history and Jewish cultural studies, taught in the mornings, and then what's called 'sequential studies' or 'general studies', which are the subjects students are required to study from their home schools. These are taught in the afternoons. In summer, when there are no sequential studies, more field trips and activities are planned. |
