Our Scholar-in-Residence program brings one of our Israel faculty members to the US for several weeks at a time to address and educate a variety of groups, from Jewish Day Schools to public schools, from professional groups to Kiwanis clubs and more. Since 2002, faculty members have served as scholars in places such as Seattle, Boca Raton, Philadelphia and Orlando.

The goal of our Scholar-in-Residence program is to bring Israel to our North American (and soon other) Diaspora communities so that those who are unable to travel to Israel can still benefit from a taste of the learning adventures that AMIIE offers in Israel.

Speaking at least once a day over the course of several weeks, our faculty can directly impact hundreds of learners. In Orlando, we reached an estimated 2,600 Jews of all ages, some of whom evolve in primarily non-Jewish communities. One such high school student told our teacher tearfully after his presentation that she had never been so proud to be Jewish.
