TeacherRona Melnik was born and raised in Hod Ha'Sharon, Israel, and grew up in proximity of the campus of the Alexander Muss High School in Israel. She holds a B.ED in History and the Studies of Israel from Beit-Berel College, and a Masters degree in Jewish education from Haifa University. Rona also earned certification from the Ministry of Tourism to conduct guided tours. During her army service, Rona served as a soldier-teacher and assisted new immigrants from the former Soviet Union and Ethiopia in their Aliyah process and helped organize a leadership program for local teenagers. Rona has worked extensively with many groups in Israel including birthright Israel and has visited many communities throughout the US and Canada. She has also led groups to Europe with the March of the Living.
She was a madricha with AMHSI in 1998 and joined our teaching staff in 2003.
