Since 1972, the Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI) has been synonymous with experiential academics, outdoors fun and challenges, where Israel itself is your classroom. The only non-denominational, English language, eight-week, academic program for high school juniors and seniors, AMHSI offers students a chance to discover Israel and its people, learn its history in a unique, hands-on way, and have a life-changing experience while connecting with their own heritage.

In our High School programs, we engage our teenage participants at a unique time in their lives when a journey through their heritage and history can point the way to a more meaningful future. Following a chronological exploration of Israel's land and people by hiking, climbing, and crawling through actual sites, teens can wrestle with the issues of each lesson as if they themselves are making history!

More than tour guides, our faculty connect to their students as teachers, mentors, and friends. Alumni have described their teachers as personal trainers for their body, their intellect and their soul.
