One of the things that makes the Alexander Muss High School in Israel's admissions process truly unique is that the regional Director of Admissions (DA) assigned to your location will be glad to answer all your questions about AMHSI and provide you with all the necessary information to get started. Your DA will guide you through admissions requirements, the application process, and even help you figure out what to pack! S/he will also work with your home school to set up academic courses (sequentials), standardized testing (SAT, PSAT, and AP) and help you qualify for college credits. In a nutshell, here is what to expect over the course of the application process: Your DA will provide you with an application packet and more information on the Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI) program. The first step to making your application "official" will be to send in your basic application forms together with a registration fee and a small deposit. During this time, your DA will meet with you, your family and your school to determine what high school courses you will need to take while in Israel as well as any Standardized Testing or College Credits you might wish to pursue. A doctor's certification and a few more consent documents should be read and signed, and you are on your way! |
