Births:Ari Yares (Rappaport Dorm, Feb '94 USY: Teacher: David Mitchell) and Ali Yares are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Elianna Miryam, on March 28, 2008. They currently reside in Baltimore, MD. From July 2008, Ari is the Middle School Head at the Krieger Schechter Day School. David Greene (Friedman Dorm, Jun '87: Teacher: Yossi Katz) and his wife, Rachel, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Hope Addison Greene, who was born on October 25, 2007. Hope joins her big brothers Kyle (4) and Jake (2). David is an attorney in the West Palm Beach office of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. Susan (Shebar) Fioribello (Rappaport Dorm, Dec '88: Teacher: Yossi Katz) welcomed a baby girl, Sara Jennie Fioribello, on October 14, 2007. Announcements:Scott Arogeti (Apr 2001: Teacher Yossi Katz) has been appointed as the new White House Liaison to the American Jewish Community, July 2008. Dina Asis (Sep '99: Teacher: Yossi Katz) graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida International University in August 2007. She is now a Victim Services Coordinator for FIU. Danny Stein and Chana Galor, both madrichim for Akiba Hebrew Academy, Sep '07, were married on May 25, 2008 in Israel. The couple met at AMHSI. They are currently honeymooning in Asia.
Shannon Lipp (Winter '92) was married to Ariel Rosenstein (Spring '97) on June 26, 2008 in Israel. The couple currently resides in Tel Aviv and can be reached at

Ian Bessell (Wohl Dorm, Feb '94) was married to Alyse Krotenberg (Rappaport Dorm, Feb '99) on October 20, 2007 in Florida. Attending the wedding were Alyse's best friend from AMHSI and maid of honor, Laura Hecht (Feb '99) and Ian's brother and best man, Paul Bessell (Summer '96).
