Employment

Spend time in Israel working for AMIIE!

  • Are you a college grad, preferably between the ages 22-28?
  • Have you been to Israel, preferably as an adult and not just as a teen?
  • Do you have Hadracha experience (as a counselor or unit head at camp or in a youth movement)?
  • Are you energetic, friendly, organized, team oriented, and a good listener?
  • Do you like hiking and outdoor activities?
  • Can you speak in front of a group?
  • Do you like and have you had experience working with teenagers?

The excellence of our Madrichim has an enormous effect on the experiences of our students and, each year, we look to hire only the best!

Our Madrichim are residential counselors: They live in the dorms and serve as authentic Jewish adult role models for the students. The position entails responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being of our students, in addition to challenging logistical and administrative duties. We look for people who are energetic, witty, playful, organized, thoughtful, and most importantly, committed.

*Madrichim are paid a monthly salary and all room and board are covered. Madrichim should be able to commit for at least 4 months of work. Each of the Madrichim is allowed one day off each week. Some (but not all) of the weekends will be free too. AMIIE does not cover any flight cost for Madrichim arriving from overseas.
