![]() TeacherElhanan Brown made Aliya with his family at the age of 6. Elhanan grew up in Yerushalayim in the fun loving neighborhood of French Hill. Elhanan Spent his summers at Ramah Poconos as a camper and on staff.
After completing his army service as a Tank Commander, Elhanan came to work for AMIIE as a Madrich. Elhanan spent a year with us before shipping off to Australia as a Shaliach From the Masorti Olami (World Conservative Movement) to Bialik College, a Jewish Day School in Melbourne, and also at Kehilat Nitzan, the conservative synagogue in Melbourne. Upon his return home, Elhanan came back to work for at AMIIE as a Madrich for a short while as he began his degree in Informal Education, Israel Studies and the Tour Guiding course at Beit Berl College. Elhanan has been teaching with us since 2007. Included among his passions for Israel and teenage education, Elhanan loves hiking. He is proud to have traveled the Israel trail from Dan to Eilat for 40 days at the end of summer in 2006.
