Teacher

After moving to Israel from Scotland, Aubrey attended yeshivas in Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. He earned his first teaching degree in 1983, after which he served in the IDF tank corps. He then continued his studies at Bar Ilan University, where he earned his B.A. in Jewish History and Informal Education. He attended Rabbinical School and specialized in Rabbinic Literature and Tanach. He then attended Ben Gurion University in Beersheva where he earned his Masters degree in Midrash and Jewish Thought. Before joining AMIIE/AMHSI, Aubrey served as Director of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) International Graduate Institute in Arad.
